apartment, dun laoghaire, Dublin
The owners of this two bedroom apartment wanted a more flexible layout, additional storage and had a requirement for just one bedroom and bathroom.
The interior was stripped back to the concrete shell including the removal of two bathroom pods. A series of oak veneered boxes divide the space and provide storage throughout the apartment, opaque glass sliding screens allow the living spaces to be subdivided while still allowing light deep in to the plan.
The glass screens reflect the roofscape of dun laoghaire throughout the apartment.
